My camera is of the point-n-shoot variety, but it’s a good point-n-shoot camera. It has lots of little extras such as a choice for ’scene’ which has different options like portrait, candlelight, sports, beach, mountains, fireworks, and my favorite, sunsets. Since I know nothing about F-stops and aperture, which would be useless with a point-n-shoot camera anyway, the scene does all of the settings for you.
It’s like magic!

Okay, so you have to use your imagination a little because the sunset is sort of reflected on the boat’s sail. I just like this picture, okay?
It turned the pale yellow, pink, and lavender Maine sunsets over the ocean into vibrant yellow, pink and purple sunsets. So I took a LOT of sunset pictures while pretending I was a great unknown artistic photographer. Long after I’m gone, someone will discover my photos and think “Oh, this person was a genius!” All done with my little camera designed for regular people possessed of little or no artistic talent.
Which means you are now my captive audience.
I would pull out the projector and 8mm films if I had them, but I don’t. Consider yourself lucky.

Love your photos!
